Most jewellery lives in a dish by the door. You put it on for something and take it off before the shower, before the gym, before the sea. The good version does not work that way: it goes on and it stays on.

Where will it sit on me?
It is cut to fall around the collarbone on most people — low enough to show at an open collar, high enough to disappear under a buttoned shirt.
