A knit is the most useful thing in a wardrobe because it does two jobs at once: it keeps you warm and it closes the outfit. There is nothing to arrange and nothing to adjust.
It goes over a shirt without fighting it and under a jacket without bunching, which is what makes it the thing that actually gets worn.
Nobody says anything about a good knit. They just place you a little differently in the room, and that is the whole point of it.

A knit either holds its line or relaxes out of it, and the answer is in the density of the knit and in the ribbed edges. Both are invisible on day one and obvious by the twentieth wash.

The cut is identical in all five. The colour decides the job: the neutrals go under everything and behave, and the rest are the ones that make a plain outfit look chosen.

Why this costs what it costs
Most of the cost in a knit sits in the parts you stop noticing after a week: ribbing knitted separately and set on at the neck, cuffs and hem, and a knit dense enough to keep its shape. Those are what separate a sweater you keep from one you replace every season.
We sell direct, which takes two sets of hands out of the journey. The rail, the shop floor, the distributor taking a cut on the way: every one of them needed paying, and none of them added anything to the sweater itself. What is left in the price is the knit.

How should it fit?
It should sit close at the shoulder with room through the body, so a shirt underneath has space. If you are between two sizes and want to layer, take the larger one.
Can I wear it over a shirt?
Yes, and it is cut with the room for it. A collar sits out cleanly at the neck.
Will it itch?
Not from this yarn. It is the coarse end of wool that people react to, and this is not that.
How do I wash it?
Wash it cool and inside out, then dry it flat rather than on a hanger — that is what keeps the shoulders from stretching out.
What arrives in the parcel?
The piece exactly as shown in the product images, packed so it arrives the way it left.
Is it a good gift?
One of the best. A knit is forgiving about size and it is the thing people reach for most once they own it.
