Structure is the whole trick. A blazer gives a shoulder a line it does not have on its own, and everything underneath inherits it.
Over a tee, over a shirt, over a fine knit — it improves all three without changing any of them.
A jacket with structure changes how a room receives you before you have said anything. Nobody mentions it; everybody responds to it.
How the shoulder holds its line
Structure is built, not cut. The chest and shoulder are made up separately and then set in, which is why a blazer stands up on a hanger and a shirt does not.

Why this costs what it costs
The structure in the front of a blazer is built before the jacket is assembled at all. It is most of the cost and it is the only thing holding the line of the shoulder.
None of that was cut here. What was removed is the part that has nothing to do with the blazer: the rail, the shop floor, the distributor taking a cut on the way. We sell direct, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a blazer built like this is simply not in the price. You are paying for the jacket.

How should I size it?
Your usual jacket size. The shoulder is the part that has to be right; everything else has some tolerance.
Can I wear it with jeans?
Yes, and that is most of what a jacket like this is for now. The shoulder is what makes it work; the trousers underneath are open.
How do I look after it?
Brush it down, hang it on a broad hanger, and have it cleaned at the end of the season rather than every few wears. Over-cleaning is what flattens a jacket.
What arrives in the parcel?
