The shape that never had to come back
The pilot shape has been in continuous use for most of a century, which is not a style argument so much as a practical one: it suits more faces than anything else and it has never looked like it belonged to one decade.
That is the whole case for owning a pair. It is the frame you do not have to think about again.
Glasses are worn at eye level, which is where every conversation is aimed. There is no such thing as a discreet pair.

A full rim holds the lens on every side, which is the version that survives being taken on and off several times a day. TAC is a layered lens material rather than a single tinted sheet, and the layers are where the optical work happens.

Where the money goes, and where it does not
On sunglasses the cost sits in the lens and the hinge. A layered lens is a stack of materials rather than a single tinted sheet, and a hinge is the one part that gets used several times a day for years. Cheap pairs save on both, and you find out which one they skimped on within a season.
None of that was cut here. What was removed is the part that has nothing to do with the glasses: the display stand, the shop floor, the distributor taking a cut on the way. We sell direct, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a pair built like this is simply not in the price.

It suits more faces than any other frame shape, which is why it has stayed in use. Returns are free, so trying a pair is the cheapest way to settle it.
What is UV400?
It means the lenses block light below 400 nanometres, which covers the ultraviolet range.
Are they for men or women?
Both. The frame is unisex and the colour is the only choice to make.
What arrives in the parcel?
The glasses exactly as shown in the product images, with a box, packed so they arrive the way they left.
What if they are not right for me?
Returns are free and global. Send them back unused and we will exchange them or refund you.
