The lens finish is the decision
On most sunglasses you choose a frame colour. Here the five options are mostly lens finishes, and that is a bigger choice than it sounds: a gradient, a mirror and a flat tint change how much of your eyes other people can see.
A mirrored lens hides them completely. A gradient hides the top half and leaves the rest. That is the real difference between these options, and it is worth a few seconds of thought.
Glasses are worn at eye level, which is where every conversation is aimed. There is no such thing as a discreet pair.
Where a pair of glasses gives out
Everything that fails on sunglasses fails at a hinge. It is the one part that moves, it moves several times a day, and it is the part nobody checks in a photograph. The frame and the lens get looked at; the hinge is what decides how long you keep them.

Where the money goes, and where it does not
On sunglasses the cost sits in the lens and the hinge. A finished lens — gradient or mirrored — is a stack of layers rather than a single tinted sheet, and a hinge is the one part that gets used several times a day for years. Cheap pairs save on both, and you find out which one they skimped on within a season.
None of that was cut here. What was removed is the part that has nothing to do with the glasses: the display stand, the shop floor, the distributor taking a cut on the way. We sell direct, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a pair built like this is simply not in the price.

What is the difference between the options?
The lens finish, chosen at the top of this page. A mirrored lens hides the eyes completely, a gradient darkens the top and lightens towards the bottom, and a flat tint sits between the two.

Exactly as they appear in the product images on this page. They are photographs of the piece itself rather than renders.
How do I look after them?
Use the box when they are not on your face. Almost all damage to sunglasses happens loose in a bag or on a dashboard.
What arrives in the parcel?
The glasses exactly as shown in the product images, with a box, packed so they arrive the way they left.
